Policies
The pages in this section contain trust-wide policies that we believe are important to publish and share information about how we operate. These apply to all the schools, pupils and adults that work within Oxlip Learning Partnership.
The policies should open in a new window on your web browser. If you have any problems, you may need to open them using a PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader. Alternatively, paper copies of policies are available (free of charge) on request.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of the policies we have in place to ensure we manage our organisation effectively and efficiently. Please contact us if you have a query about our policy framework.

Communication, Concerns and Complaints
Parents and schools share the same goal: supporting children’s education. At Oxlip Learning Partnership (the Trust) we value our strong relationships with parents and carers. By working together this helps us to achieve the very best for our learners in a mutually supportive partnership between parents/carers, teaching staff and the school community.
Sometimes questions or concerns arise, and we know that giving feedback or raising a concern or complaint can feel difficult.
We encourage parents to read the 'Parent Guide to School Complaints' published by Parentkind, the Departments for Education, Ofsted and the Improving Education Together board. The guide gives you clear steps on how to share your views and resolve issues quickly and positively.
Parent Guide to School Complaints
To help parents find the appropriate member of staff to contact within our schools, we have a Communication Policy in place. This includes a detailed list covering a number of topics and providing the appropriate contact information.
Our Feedback, Concerns and Complaints procedure can be found below:

If you choose to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini or similar) to help you draft or structure your concern or complaint, please read our guidance document before doing so. AI tools can be helpful in organising your thoughts and presenting your concern or complaint clearly, but they must be used carefully.
We strive to make our schools a place where, as adults, we model for students the behaviour we teach and expect. Our staff and governors / Trustees will always treat you with respect and courtesy. We ask that you treat our staff and governors / Trustees in the same way. We will not accept inappropriate, abusive or threatening behaviour towards any member of our community.
