Gippeswyk Community Educational Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust in Ipswich. The trust has three schools currently - Copleston High School, Britannia Primary School and Nursery and Rose Hill Primary School.

Copleston High School is a popular 11 - 18 mixed academy noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a 'good school with outstanding features' by Ofsted in January 2018.

We require an experienced HR Officer to manage the day-to-day administration of our busy HR Department.

You will support the HR Director to provide an efficient and effective HR service to Copleston High School and across the Trust. This will include recruitment, keeping the Single Central Record, absence management, contractual records and documentation, managing data and producing reports, dealing with payroll (including pre-payroll checking) and other employment queries.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking and focussed, with good interpersonal skills, attention to detail and an ability to react quickly to changeable situations. You will have an understanding of HR and education and an ability to encourage and further embed good practice in our employment practices. You must be CIPD (minimum level 5) qualified and have school, education or public sector experience.
