Copleston High School is a popular 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a 'Good' school by Ofsted in January 2018. As a school we are committed to raising standards of learning and teaching within all subject areas. You will be impressed by the behaviour, ethos and outcomes of students across the school.

Your principal duty will be to support teaching staff by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring students and reporting on progress during short-term teacher absence. Other duties could involve administrative / technical support to subject departments, examination supervision and accompanying school trips.
Induction and training will be provided.

If you are a good communicator and have experience of and a passion for working with young people in a learning environment; have GCSEs in English and mathematics or equivalent; the ability to encourage students to learn and to maintain discipline in the classroom, we would like to hear from you.
